[Qgis-user] ImportLayersFromProject Plugin results in empty attribute table

I just tried out the handy ImportLayersFromProject plugin but when a
layer is added, its attribute table is completely empty of any records
and therefore no features are drawn. Is this some kind of known error?
This essentially makes this plugin useless. Anybody have any info about
this?
