Estimados usuarios QGIS (Dear QGIS Users)

Los invito a visitar el sitio en idioma español que estoy creando sobre
temas de sistemas de información geográfica usando programas de código
libre http://www.geociencias.net/
Ya hay disponibles tres capítulos:
El primero habla de como crear y configurar un servidor virtual de Amazon
Web Service o una máquina virtual con VMWare Fusion ambos con Ubuntu 12.04.

El segundo explica como instalar en Windows, Mac (OSX) o Ubuntu los
programas PostgreSQL, Postgis y PGRouting.
El tercer capítulo explica como agregar funciones a PostgreSQL para
agilizar el proceso de cálculo de isocronas (tiempo de viaje desde
intersecciones de caminos hasta uno o varios puntos de interes).
Espero les agrade y me hagas observaciones para mejorar.

The site talks about open source software for geographic information
systems.
So far I have published three chapters:
The first talks about how to create and configure a virtual server to
Amazon Web Service or a virtual machine with VMWare Fusion both with Ubuntu

PostgreSQL, PostGIS and pgRouting programs.
The third chapter explains how to add functions to PostgreSQL to streamline
the process for calculating isochrones (travel time from road intersections
to one or more points of interest).
