[Qgis-user] FW: installing QGIS 2.12.1

I am a first time user and attempting to install on Windows 7 enterprise.
The installation stalled while running batch setup files.  Log is attached.
Can someone see what is wrong?

Froze up on msvcrt-2013.bat.  However, QGISdesktop seems to bring up the
user interface and I can open the demo project.
