[Qgis-user] Uninstalling QGIS standalone using SCCM

Hello List

I'd like to uninstall QGIS standalone using Microsoft's System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM). We currently push QGIS out to users using SCCM and it installs just fine. However, when coming to uninstalling QGIS, SCCM takes a copy of Uninstall-QGIS.exe, puts it in a temporary folder, runs it and it very promptly and efficiently deletes the temporary folder leaving the QGIS installation intact.

What is the order of events when Uninstall-QGIS.exe is run? Does it call the preremove.bat file first and then finally delete the C:\Program Files\QGIS Version\ directory?

Anyone had any experience of using SCCM with QGIS for install and uninstall?

Thanks in advance!

Ross
