[Qgis-user] Using iphone as gps to log points

Hi,
You could easily just take a picture with the phone and take the coordinates from the image tags.  You can then use a plugin like photo2kmz to create a point file of where the images where taken.
This is a phone so I doubt that the quality of the coordinates will be much worse then with a special apt.  On Android, there are a few apts that can take a point average.  That would be better.  Not sure what is out there for the iPhone...

I've used two: Geopaparazzi (open source) and Fulcrum (commercial).
Both are very good at what they do - both with well with QGIS.

Hi, does anyone know a good app that will enable me
to log GPS points, taken when I visit different locations, into
my iphone and then export them so I can use them in QGIS?
        Many thanks.
