[Qgis-user] First public release of Elevation, SRTM 30m global DEM easy management

Hi,
SRTM version 3 is not the NASADEM. 
(https://earthdata.nasa.gov/community/community-data-system-programs/measures-projects/nasadem) 
That will be a new product made by reprocessing the original SRTM 
images.  STRMGL1 is simply a declassified 1 arc second version of the 3 
arc second data with void filling and lake-water flattening. Before, 
they where available in the US only or Globally at the 3 arc-sec resolution.
