[Qgis-user] QGIS closes unexpectedly

See if this fixes it - https://hub.qgis.org/issues/12577

Right click on your vector file. Go to Properties -> Rendering -> Turn 
off simplify Geometry.

It appears to be an issue with the way QGIS is handling that projection.
