[Qgis-user] Rendering of Back Ground Image in Map Output

Hi,

Assuming we are following Google term of use https://www.google.com/intl/en-GB_ALL/permissions/geoguidelines/ , the easiest way out of this problem is to bypass the Google server when printing as it will effectively limit the number of pixels it feeds you.   What I did, in the past was to zoom in, and export the project as an image, pan and then start over again.  These .tiff files will be georeferenced.  I would then load these file into the project and use those as the background.
