Would you be overjoyed and supportive of a "boycott" of QGIS if it comes out anybody in any war is using it for mapping stuff?

People could come up with all kinds of places considered "civilized" that went/are way off the tracks on COVID BS.  Want to ban participation of all the other people who live under tyrants too?

Fully agreed with Andreas. We try to make the world a better, more free place by developing QGIS with a free and open source licence, let's stick to this and welcome any contribution.
