[Qgis-user] Cannot erase a polygon

Hi,
As Gordon pointed out earlier, this looks to me like an annotation display. Please read https://docs.qgis.org/3.34/en/docs/user_manual/map_views/map_view.html#interacting-with-features for deletion.
