Status Report and update on GeoWebCache for the week ending on June  
27th, 2008

This week's work continued last week's with the implementation of the  
changes to TileLayer to use Restful interface.
- added two more representations of the TileLayerResource for XML and  
JSON.
- begun working on serializing the TileLayer to XML using XStream API.  
Spent a couple of days exploring XStream.
- begun coding TileLayer Serialization using XStream.

Next week i propose to finish the work on serialization and return to  
adding write capabilities to the configuration through the rest  
interface, work that i suspended due to the new requirement of  
serialization.
