Hi all,

I’m Violeta and I’ve been selected as student for the Google Summer of Code.
During this summer, I will develop a new functionality for the Layout of
gvSIG, creating a title block.

These are the tasks I’ve been doing during this first week:

• What did I do this week?

- Ensuring that the workspace is ready to start, and all the installations
of gvSIG 2.0, Eclipse Juno, etc that I made the days before are working as
expected.

- Analysis of the gvSIG development environment and definition of
requirements to implement the functionality (UML).

- Creating the buttons at the tab bar and its execution.

• What will I be working on next week?

- Generating the graphics: modeling a list of title blocks and creating a
library with them.

• Did I meet with any stumbling blocks?

- Some problems with the installation of the environment of development of
gvSIG 2.0, but are already solved.

Regards,
Violeta.
