[Spanish] [OSGeo-Discuss] Would you be concerned if the "GeoServices REST API" became an OGC standard?

Hola a todos,

Creo que estaría bien que alguien que tenga experiencia con la API REST de
ESRI de su opinión. Voy a ver si hablo con algún compañero para que me
comente. La idea de crear un estándar REST me parece buena idea, sería una
forma fácil de potenciar lo WPS que están abandonados, lo malo es que sea
el estándar ajustado a una empresa.

En una presentación de Geoservicios en el ICC donde usan la API REST vi
cosas muy raras como usar como unidades de medidas "esriHectares" o
geometrías de tipo *"geometryType" : "<esriGeometryPoint |
esriGeometryPolyline | esriGeometryEnvelope | esriGeometryPolygon |
esriGeometryMultipoint>",*
Esto es una locura. ¿Para que se inventan estas unidades?.
Creo que si va a ser un estándar se deberían usar tipos y medidas
estándares.
