You must have a shell account to do the process.  I'd like to not be  
the only one who can do this.  It would make sense for Lorenzo to  
have this ability to at least update the themes folder.

Is MapGuide site using a different set of theme templates?  If so,  
you might need to also update it separately.  Using different themes  
makes sense so it can be customised.
