[OSGeo Africa] OSSIM

Gavin,

I have recently started to use OSSIM for mosaicking images. The download site that I used is:-

http://www.ossim.org/OSSIM/Downloads.html

The ImageLinker application provides a good environment for some image processing tasks, but I have not yet found the kind of classification procedures that Solly appears to need in OSSIM.

Regards,

Chris Legg

Hi Solly

Ossimplanet is an open source 'emulation' of Google Earth using OSSIM.
It is NOT an image processing package.

OSSIM itself is what you want.

See the documentation and join the OSSIM mailing lists on
http://www.ossim.org/OSSIM/Documentation.html

OSSIM's page on the OSGEO website: http://www.osgeo.org/ossim

I think this is the download you want to install OSSIM - read the
documentation or ask the list first to confirm. Does anyone on this list
know?

Gavin
