Featuring QGIS, uDig, GeoServer and PostGIS

See what these programs are all about. Install them. Use them.

PostGIS: Install, load data, perform spatial queries.

GeoServer: Install, set up data stores and web services.

uDig: Use WMS and WFS services, create SLD styles. Apply them in
GeoServer.

QGIS: Open shapefiles, images, WMS, WFS and PostGIS layers. Edit. Create
thematic maps. Create attribute actions and use the Plugin manager.

To fit all this into 3 hours it will be a mixture of hands-on and

In the afternoon there will be a QGIS 1.0 prerelease bug-squashing
session. Learn more about QGIS, see the latest features and contribute
by identifying and describing bugs.
