Dear All

On a similar note to Sindile, I would urge companies and individuals with
FOSS GIS expertise to register with the OSGeo service providers directory
on http://www.osgeo.org/submit_profile.  You will need to set up an
account first if you do not already have one, but the process is very
simple.

The OSGeo service provider directory is international, and will provide
exposire to both government and private enterprise opportunities.   Have a
look at http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/SPD for an overview of what OSGeo are
trying to achieve, and the kind of controls they are considering putting
in place.  They seem to be taking a very professional, considered
approach.
