Hi All

I am trying to source datasets for Uganda, Tanzania and Eritrea.

I have sourced data from Servir.Net and FAO and found huge variations
in
admin boundary layers, also a wrong attributes alocated to smaller
admin
layers.

I am interest in 3 x hierarchical Admin layers per country for Malaria
and
Eye-care projects.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Try this:

http://www.fao.org/geonetwork/srv/en/main.home

and search for â€̃GAUL’ in the free text.

Although the only way you will get the â€̃correct’ names and
boundaries is from the mapping authority in each country. This is
actually what SALB tries to do. See: http://www.unsalb.org/

I hope this help,

Cheers,

Craig

Craig

Thanks for the reply. FAO is a great site and have sourced data from
there
already. I like to source data from multiple sources to verify
boundary
layers and have registered at SALB. Thanks for the link.

I am also requesting datasets directly from the countries "mapping
authorities" now.

Thanks.
