Hi Hanlie
I feel your pain. StatsSA continues to surprise me by their poor
service delivery. I have been dealing with Trevor for the past few
months, as well as countless others (no-one at StatsSA believes in
responding to emails). We've even exchanged emails with the
statistician general, and still no resolution. We are currently filing
a PAIA application to liberate the data.
Having said that, sub-municipal data is scheduled to be released in
March this year (I expect no earlier than April). Until then, no-one
has access to it (if you can believe StatsSA).
Here's a list of contact people at StatsSA that you might try -
possibly starting from the top down. I haven't received any joy from
anyone but Koketso but it's worth a try.
