Thank you for your help. I've already tried Diva GIS and it's indeed not too accurate for base data like roads and population. Anyway generally a good source :)

Have you tried DIVA GIS<http://www.diva-gis.org/gdata> for some "context" data, i don't know about accuracy and dates of the data i only remember that site for a certain project i worked on using it quite a while back.

For my Master Thesis I'm working on a GIS based Decision Analysis on household water treatment for Uganda.
Data I'm looking for includes:
- Water borne disease outbreaks
- Income Level
- good road layer (so far I'm working with Google map maker data)
- water availability
The data should cover the whole of Uganda and the higher the spatial resolution the better (at least district level). Hope someone can help me in this matter.
