Hi Kevin,
I can't answer your question directly, but I am curious why you did not
install using OSGEO4w installer, as it is extremely flexible and gives
you easy access to all the OSGEO software, including the dependencies
they may have.
If there is no real reason, then rather download/reinstall all the
required software onto 1 system using OSGEO4w, and then install on the
other PCs pointing OSGEO4w to this first system.

Have you looked at Monteverdi?
The great thing about it is that as you build up your command using the
GUI, it displays the command-line syntax that you could use should you
want to script a chain of processes.
IMHO, all GIS students must learn to at least "script" if not
"programme", so this would also facilitate as an easy intro to command
line usage.
(I use inverted commas because in the simplest case, stringing together
a bunch of command line commands in a BAT file is a script)

HTH,
Zoltan
