Hi Tsakane
[I changed the subject to something more informative]
Here's a tutorial for using QGIS to set up your map layers, publish them
with QGIS map server and view them with QGIS web client:
http://hub.qgis.org/projects/quantum-gis/wiki/QGIS_Server_Tutorial
Your map services are (or should be) quite distinct from your web
application. There are several manuals and tutorials around for setting
up your map services using tools like QGIS server, Mapserver or
Geoserver. Just Google around.
For a self-contained browser-based web application look for tutorials
about GeoExt, OpenLayers, or Leaflet. (The QGIS web client mentioned
above is built with GeoExt)
For a more sophisticated web application I'd recommend GeoDjango
(http://geodjango.org/). There's a tutorial in the first page of its
documentation.
Why don't you consider coming on our course in August, which covers all
these topics:
http://www.fossgisacademy.com/courses/building-web-mapping-applications-with-foss-gis
let us know how it goes!
