Why not just join the stand number to the SG shapefile of erven? Assuming you have the full stand number (21 digit code). Or if you know the exact area, it is even possible to use the short stand number only.

Dear All

Is it possible to create a shapefile from a spreadsheet without coordinates using stand numbers, in Quantum GIS? I know that using a plugin MMQGIS you can create a shapefile with a csv spreadsheet having an address, but with a stand number it doesn't,,is there anyone with other criteria which i can use?
