Just a suggestion. You could use the 1:50000 topographical map series from NGI to get a rough idea of urban growth since (I am guessing) the 1950s. There will probably be a map for each decade since then. NGI has electronic georeferenced versions of those maps available for free. Also remember that NGI also has the aerial photography that those maps are based on – if you would like to do your own image analysis/interpretation.
You can view those topo maps (per decade) on the “public view” of SPISYS – public.pula.co.za

Greetings and Salutations geographical comrades .
I require two forms of assistance which im hoping you can help me with .
1.My peer who is doing his PHd requires data for Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, he requires if possibles hydrological flows and vegetation change for the last 40 years.
2. I myself am looking for a temporal map of Durban , KwaZulu-Natal if possible that shows urban growth and or really anything to do with urban areas. (Preferably from the end of Apartheid till now)
If anyone can assist me, I would be most appreciative.
