You can get 0.5m GSD imagery from NGI for the entire RSA, please contact sales at drdlr.gov.za . There are three colour coverages since 2008 and many more in panchromatic  dating back to 1939.

You could also contact the Working for Water Programme. They do lots of invasive species mapping so should be happy to share their imagery.
