[OSGeo Africa] QGIS splitting lines at intersections

Hi Zoltan

The DigitizingTools plugin has a tool to split lines in place using 
selected lines from /another/ layer.

I would put them through v.clean in GRASS but that of course doesn't do 
it in place. Perhaps some of these scripted solutions will do the trick:
