Hi all!


OSGeo Belgium presents the 5th edition of FOSS4G Belgium, that will take
place on the 24th of october 2019 in Brussels. Last years over 300 Open
Source enthusiasts attended the free conference about Free and Open Source
Software for Geospatial.



This year we welcome Astrid Emde (Mapbender, Wheregroup.com) as keynote
speaker, amongst others to be announced. Astrid is a very active member of
OSGeo, as a board member, involved in the marketing committee and promoter
and active comitter of the OSGeo Live initiative.



FOSS4G Belgium 2019 will host 24 presentations in 3 tracks, on various
topics such as machine learning, Qgis, Belgian use cases, tracing, mobility
and much more. It's the place to meet other Belgian and international Open
Source Geospatial enthousiast!

OSGeo België presenteert haar 5e editie van FOSS4G Belgium, die zal
plaatsvinden op 24 oktober 2019 in Brussel. De laatste jaren bezochten over
300 Open Source enthousiastelingen de gratis conferentie over Geografische
Open Source Software.



Dit jaar verwelkomen we onder andere Astrid Emde (Mapbender,
Wheregroup.com) als keynote speaker. Astrid is een actief lid van OSGeo,
als bestuurder, betrokken in het marketing team en promotor en actieve
bijdrager aan het OSGeo Live initiatief.



FOSS4G België 2019 zal 24 presentaties hosten, verdeeld over 3 parallelle
tracks, die uiteenlopende topics als machine learning, Qgis, Belgische use
cases, tracing, mobiliteit en vele meer behandelen. Het is dé plaats om
andere Belgische en internationale Open Source Geo enthousiastelingen te
ontmoeten!

L’OSGeo Belgique a le plaisir de vous annoncer la 5ème édition de son
événement annuel FOSS4G Belgique qui se tiendra le 24 octobre 2019 à
Bruxelles. Ces dernières années, plus de 300 passionnés des logiciels
libres ont assisté à LA conférence gratuite en matière de logiciels libres
en géomatique.



Cette année, nous aurons notamment le plaisir d'accueillir Astrid Emde
(Mapbender, Wheregroup.com) en tant que conférencière d’honneur. Astrid est
un membre très actif de la communauté OSGeo, notamment en tant que membre
du comité, et est très impliquée dans la promotion et le développement de
l’initiative OSGeo live.



La conférence FOSS4G Belgique comprendra pas moins de 24 présentations et 3
sessions. Le programme s’annonce passionnant avec des sujets comme le
Machine Learning, Qgis, des cas d’utilisation en Belgique, la mobilité et
encore bien d’autres sujets. Cet évènement est l’endroit où il faut être
pour rencontrer d’autres passionnés des logiciels libres en géomatique !
