I don't think there is a meeting scheduled for this week, no. 

I heard really positive noises from Swapnil Hajare about how the
OSGeo/India startup meeting had turned out and I really look forward 
to hearing more. :)

This just looks great. 
Re. spatial databases - I really want to follow up with both the
Postgres and MySQL community people I ran into at OSCON about their
interest in improving and socialising spatial database support. 
It would be good to get more input on this from discuss list soon:
