Swapnil is supposed to prepare the draft proposal for the India OSGeo 
soon. We now
have more than 30 people interested in contributing to the activities of
India OSGeo Chapter. Autodesk India and some local software companies
have also expressed interest.

Have informed the folks in India about foss.in
Some of the folks from the proposed India OSGeo Chapter will be there, I 
was told.
Could try to be there if somebody pays for my travel.
