Professor Chen,

I would love to be there. Thank you for the kind words. Michael is a good friend of ours and can represent OSGeo well.

You can reach me at any time, and on my next trip to China (I come at least every 6 monoths) I will be sure to make a stop in Beijing to visit with you.

Welcome to OSGeo!

Kind regards,

Gary

Dear all,

Either of them are warmly welcome. Gary may be more suitable for since Autodesk(China) is here contributing to China OSGeo as song said and the meeting with Gary in Beijing last month was very dedelighted. For this time, we will make Gary an old friend.
I also agree with song at his suggestion that Venka as our advisor. We appreciate his great help for the founding our chapter in China.

Best Regards.

Chen

Dear all,

Either of them are welcome, but Gary may be suitable for since
Autodesk(China) is here contributing to China OSGeo.
What is more, I suggest Venka as our advisor, so that China OSGeo can cooperate closely with OSGeo and other Asian branches (India,Thailand,Japan). I believe he will help us more in future as he did during founding our chapter.

How do you think my opinion? Prof. Chen and Kevin?
The board mailing list is pending for our decision!
Once deciding candidate we should confirm as soon as possible.

Regards,
Song
