Nits on Portal

Daniel,

A few random minor items regarding the portal.

  o The "Login" or "Logged in/ Logout" stuff in the top right corner
    shows up really poorly on the default light grey background.

  o The GDAL project should point to "http://www.gdal.org" rather than
    to the remotesensing.org mirror.

  o Every time I go to the web site with the url "http://osgeo.org" I seem
    to be redirected to "https://www.osgeo.org/", even when I am not logged
    in.  Is there a reason for this?  Due to the nature of my connection
    https connections are much slower than plain http connections so I notice
    this.
