[OSGeo-Board] Board Nomination email (please review)

A meta question:

a) who is keeping track of all of these committees?
b) who is tracking their progress
c) do we have a list of these projects that we've agreed to set up and
pursue?

If board people send me a list of the projects/committees they're
working on, I'll roll them up and we can start tracking them.

Arnulf,

I would like the foundation to be provisioned with two or three boxes
outside of collabnet that we can use for a testing environment, and also
for "demonstrator" types of stuff. I had been putting off pushing for
this for the time being since we had lots of other things to worry
about,
but perhaps we could look at that relatively soon.

Does the board have any thoughts on when we would like to address adding
a testing environment and other outside-collabnet system resources? I
would be inclined to start a "systems committee" to be responsible for
admining such machines, But there are a bunch of questions with regard
to
selecting a vendor, being able to make payments and so forth that would
need to be addressed before we can do this properly. I'm not sure if
this is the right time for this or not.

I'm not so sure I am in a rush to have members in a WFS-T though I'm not
adverse to that either.

I'll assume there is some hyperbole in this.

Best regards,
