What are we doing for the projects?

Folks,

We have often asked ourselves what are we doing for our projects.  Recently
Cameron Shorter mentioned in passing that MapBuilder downloads have doubled
since joining OSGeo, and the project attributes this to the additional
publicity (and credibility?) from being involved in OSGeo.

I don't know that other projects are necessarily seeing the same degree of
"bump" from involvement in OSGeo, but I think it indicates a noteworthy
benefit of involvement.
