	Dear Michael P. Gerlek,
	
	I have heard form Venka about possible support
	for OSGeo promotion at GIS-IDEAS 2006. The 
	promotions will be partly supported by JVGC,
	VAST (and if possible by OSGeo too).
	
	We have negotiated with the Local Organizers
	to provide a 6x4m space for OSGeo at the
	Conference Exhibition hall where our 
	volunteers will help to show demo's,
	distribute brochures, and provide info about
	OSGeo to the conference participants on all
	three days of the conference.
	
	Also we are organizing a pre-conference workshop 
	on OSGeo software and have received overwhelming
	response and we expect more that 30 participants
	to participate.
	
	I give below the break up describing the purpose
	for which the the funds provided by OSGeo will be 
	used.
	
	1) OSGeo Exhibition space US$600 (US$600 will be
	    paid for JVGC and VAST)
	2) Partial support for Printing of brochures, posters for
distribution
	    (one page OSGeo brochure will also be included 
	    in the conference kit) US$300
	3) Partial support of Cost of Burning CD for Workshop
particpants
	    US$100
	
	GIS-IDEAS 2006 will have about 200 participants and is
	one of the important geoinformatics conferences in 
	Vietnam. Details about the conference are available

	I look forward for support for OSGeo for promotions 
	at GIS-IDEAS 2006. We will provide proper receipts for
	all expenses listed above. I will provide the details
	for transfer of funds after hearing from you.
