There are a number of documents that need to be reviewed in advance, so
please do so if at all possible.

Chris - I was unable to download the draft contributor agreement for
geotools.  Perhaps the link is wrong?  Perhaps you could introduce the
issue via an email with appropriate pointers?   I'm guessing the contributor
agreement is a two way contract that needs to be signed by an official of
the foundation - is that right?  If so, were you able to get legal review?
Can you summarize the report from legal review?
