If I may chime in... Why don't we lift Brian Hamlin into a position that
will give him free hand to forge on - if he is energized to do this, so
much the better for the cause. Without wanting to take away anything
from David Bitner, the more entitled folks we have that can speak in the
name of OSGeo with some formal weight the better. I know Brian
personally and think he is an ideal candidate.
