Thanks for your feedback. I did not check this last version well enough
it seems. I wanted to ditch the whole aspect of data / open data because
it opens up a whole new discussion that does not serve in clarifying
anythign with respect to Open Source / Standards (just as Howard points
out later...)

Yes, we should add a section on how OSGeo supports Open Standards. There
should be a mention of our MoU and also that OGC reference
implementations are based on Open Source software. (I wonder why its not
in, thought that I had added this earlier).
