Chris,
thanks for this solid demonstration of support for Open Source by Nokia.
Maybe it is worth a blog or note somewhere to help disperse any other
notions that might have emerged elsewhere.

It is a valid question to ask what happens to an Open Source project
when its owner changes. Along the same line: What exactly does it mean
for an Open Source project to be "owned"? (lots of mushy arguments
floating around this questions and OSGeo does not have a good answer
either). Maybe it is also a good time to restart thinking about
copyright ownership and trademarks wrt Open Source projects. OSGeo is
still pretty much without a policy.
