FYI: On Feb 4th, the board formally endorsed Bruce Joffe's amicus letter in the Orange County GIS data case (as discussed here http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/OrangeCounty_Amicus). In my role as secretary, today I sent a formal letter of endorsement from OSGeo to Bruce. (Bruce, pls keep us posted as to how this turns out...) -mpg
