Oops, finger trouble with previous email.
I agree with David and Michael that the location of the NA conference is
not something that should be mixed in here. OSGeo has had no role in that
up to this point so can't just suddenly dictate that.
We have two good proposals and it's a shame that one has to lose. But we've
been in that situation before. Denver and Utrecht both had good bids that
lost to Barcelona, Denver ended up bidding again and won it subsequently.
So I agree we need a short time for review / discussion followed by a vote.
Not sure I agree the vote should be public, it has always been private in
the past on the conference committee?
