I think there's interest in a London stop. Do you mind emailing the LocationTech discussion list to get the discussion started and see who's interested? Feel free to cross post or send to other lists too.

Imho, late September near the AGI big data event might work well and encourage people to support & participate in both.

Also, the eclipse foundation's science and internet of things groups have people in the London area and may jump in too. There's a lot of common interest with them.
