just a clarification, even though I suppose is a secondary one: the invoice will be issued by the agency that I'm paying for organizing the conference. Unfortunately Politecnico di Milano doesn't manage it directly for many reasons. Anyway I have already signed a contract (on my risk) with them and therefore they are able to provide the invoice.

Hi board,

as a result of heavy sponsoring, particularly b EU-funded projects, there is a
surplus of about 3000 EUR from FOSS4G-Europe 2014.

An idea developed by us on this thread is that this is fed into FOSS4G-Europe
2015 as startup financing, cost-neutral for OSGeo. Please advise us within a
week if you have different ideas (university closes books soon).

A small technical issue: our university can give away money only if they receive
an invoice. I suggest that this invoice is on using the FOSS4G brand name and
logo, this should be sufficient. U Como then could issue an invoice on behalf of
OSGeo and receive the amount.

PS: I will gladly post a financial summary sometime next week - should I do this
