Hi Bart,
I am sorry for your frustration.
I am staying here, representing the community. But your reaction was,
definitely considered by me too, is what I meant. I was upset and
trying to see what I should do.
But I realize that my passion is alive and, I want to have fun with the
community, share our Open Source geo passion all around the world,
everywhere, bring FOSS4G to more communities..... That's what I know :)
So, I'm now going to do a couple of little things and get back on track
(edit an outdated osgeo.org page not listing the new board members, make
sure the Sol Katz news was/is announced, nudge the 2014 committee to
write down Lessons Learned,...). Tiny little things but just something
to get my mind and heart back on track.
And if you feel you want to come back after this dust settles, Bart, we
can find some space (or a virtual chair) at the table, anytime :)

I can't fight with LocationTech lawyers, their big pockets...I realized this on the plane home, it's a fight I cannot win. If the little guy with the massive FOSS4G spirit could win, I would; but reality, reality (damn) is that this world needs money, business, funding, all that stuff I'm not good at.

THAT isn't what FOSS4G is supposed to be about (no disrespect meant to the 2014 loc, which held an amazing event, or LocationTech which did nothing wrong). I saw friends turn on friends. I saw fear. I even saw tears (yes i had tears in my eyes on saturday, but i tried to hide them...i bet Gerald noticed them in my eyes only during the meeting).
