Thank you Mike. That is very helpful. We will inform the LOCs on whichever is the easiest option for you.

Also, once we get the OSGeo Board approval to start the student award initiative, the first thing we will do is to setup a mail list in osgeo with all Award Committee members and OSGeo Treasurer , so you are fully in loop on all discussions and updates.

Having 10 distributions to LOCs is not a lot of work for me. Mainly its
coordinating addresses and payment methods. If its just check
distributions to 10 (or so) addresses a year, no problem at all.
