Apart from the above we could also consider a mechanism wherein,
tickets filed for bug fixes and request for new features in OSGeo Software
products by Sustaining and Principal Sponsor will be given a fast track
treatment. OSGeo Board will liaise with the PSC chair to deal with such
priority tickets. A certain % of the sponsorship funds will be reserved
for paying developers if/when necessary to deal with issues related to
such prioritized tickets.
Sustaining, Principal and Supporting sponsors will be permitted to
conduct training sessions with OSGeo Software and such workshops
could use OSGeo Logo on banners and course completion certificates
issued to the participants. Sustaining sponsors could hold 6 "OSGeo
Approved"
training sessions per year, Principal Sponsors 4 and Supporting Sponsors 2.
Sponsors will also have access to list job opportunities, internships and
fellowship openings in their respective organizations on the OSGeo Website.
