[Board] [Ica-osgeo-labs] OSGeo Student awards for FOSS4G Seoul

Excellent team work all . Thank you Sanghee, Mike .

Looking at Jeff's check list to make sure there is no confusion, i have put contacts for each action for the student awards for FOSS4G Seoul

* Contact OSGeo treasurer - this is not needed ; LOC arranged (Sanghee)
* print certificates/awards - Venka, Maria in charge
* arrange who to present award - Jeff as OSGeo President to present the OSGeo Student Awards
* ask local committee for timeslot - LOC arranged (Venka , Maria to check and make sure all local logistics done)
* makes sure payments is received - not needed (cash to be given directly to the winning students by Jeff at the award ceremony)
* Publish  news - Suchith to arrange this through OSGeo channels, Geo4All newsletter etc

I also request  Venka and Maria (who are there) to please email me the names and details of the winners (also the name of their paper etc) and i will use that to prepare the press release. Also if possible send the photos of the award ceremony for the newsletter article.

PS: For future events also i think giving the cash amount directly to the winning students at the ceremony is the easiest and best option. For example at FOSS4G-Europe 2015 Europa Challenge awards at Como, if i  understand correctly (Maria- correct me if i am wrong)  ICA send the cash through Georg Gartner (ICA President)  . As Georg couldn't stay till the award ceremony, i understand he handed over to local organisers so the cash was given directly to the students for the ICA award. So it made things very simple for ICA. We should also learn from this for future events.
