That part that was under the SAC budget has been paid. Unless there are some additional costs that have come up since it was paid.

See email "component 2 website and website recommendations report", that is marketing committee signing off on content. Alex I see sign off being listed each SAC meeting, I am under the impressions we are waiting on your approval to pay this component 2 item.

Looking in dropbox at the contract, section 5.2 Payment shcedule - has "45h payment, 10% of total amount, August 31st, 2017"

I wonder if your total on the wiki included the subsequent agreement set up by Alex to help SAC figure out hosting of Wordpress?

Thanks Helena that is great, I will be sure to review and catch up; and I see some of the actual expenses being added to the https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/OSGeo_Budget_2017 wiki page.

Reviewing quickly - shows projects did much better this year at using allocated budget.

2017 Board:

- 15k budget, 6k spent = 40%

2017 Committees

- 57k max budget (actually 50k because travel grant matching), 18k spent = 32%

Projects

- 18k budget, 15k spent = 80%

Website initiative:

- 30k budget, 5k marketing, 5k sponsors = 102% (actually closer as sponsorship exceeded target). Question we still have the final component 2 payment or has that been made?

Nobody has said anything about the platform for the videocall. I propose jitsi because it allows other people to join us freely without losing the control of who speaks. We can even live stream the meeting or share later in youtube (don't know about other platforms). It can share screen (something which skype doesn't) or share a text pad (we can collaboratively help in the minutes making). And it is FOSS. If we like this a lot, we can even install our own server to have completely privacy.

So, my proposal is: please, try before the meeting https://meet.jit.si/FOSS4G It should work on all major browsers (something which Google hangouts doesn't).

Tomorrow we can start there and on irc at the same time, so if we have problems, we can fail back to Google Hangouts, Skype, irc or whatever.
