Currently, the domain points to pretix.cloud68.co <http://pretix.cloud68.co>  which is itself an alias for  

pretix-foss4g.cloud68.systems. .  According to this site 

https://ns1.com/resources/cname pointing CNAME to CNAME "is not considered a good practice as it is inefficient.". Can you ask the OSGeo people to point to 

pretix-foss4g.cloud68.systems. (Please make sure you also include the dot at the end.) ?

Before we continue with the deployment of Pretix, we will need you to do some DNS Configurations beforehand with the following setup:

 

* Type: CNAME
 
* TTL: 3600
 
* Host: event.2023.foss4g.org <http://event.2023.foss4g.org> 
 
* Value: pretix-foss4g.cloud68.systems. (Please make sure you also include the dot at the end.)
 

Be aware that after the DNS changes we have to wait for the value to propagate which most of the time is done within an hour, but it might take even up to a day depending on the domain provider.
