Nothing much, this is a profession conference organizer trying to setup an
event.

I note that they are trying to lead with digital banking and fintech (as in
Financing). Our organization is more interested in participation than
dollars (we are not a great candidate for investment).

I get the impression folks attending would be pitching their geospatial
ideas to investors; presumably to gain capacity to take their ideas to
market.
It is difficult (but not impossible) to also invite these organizations to
share IP to mitigate research, development and maintenance risk. The best
we could offer is; use standards and open source to startup with greater
control and less overhead.

Unless someone is interested in participating as a very challenging
outreach engagement ...
