[California] NACIS Talk in Oct

Alex,

Is there any chance we can get the images in the attached zip file
loaded on the laptop we are using? I've projected them to California
State Plane Coordinates, Zone 2, so they fall underneath the vector data
we will have available.

I can go first if others want to use my digitized output. I'm going to
be modifying and adding features to the major roads layer based on road
visible in the images.

Do we have a place/time we want to meet on Wednesday Morning?

A quick check in since we're only a couple of days away.

Plan for the presentation:
2 min - Intro to OSGeo 2 Slides (Alex or Brian)
9 min - QGIS (Alex - Landon did you want to go 1st, if so the rest of us
could use your digitized output?)
9 min - PostGIS, output kml file (Brian)
9 min - Mapserver output wms (Allan)
9 min - OpenLayers, using above kml and wms? (Eric)
9 min - OpenJump - digitizing on top of wms? and other base
layers...(Landon)
3 mins - Open Questions/Buffer time.

What's already done:
QGIS demo is loaded
Mrsid enabled GDAL -done
PostGIS base data is loaded
OpenLayers Installed - /var/www/OpenLayers-2.8 directly from the
homepage tar file, can be hit locally at http://localhost/OpenLayers-2.8
or http://localhost/openlayers/

FYI screen res for the demo is 1024x768, probably the best we can hope
for with a projector.

Let me know if there are any questions or you need any tweaks to the
demo box.

Thanks,
Alex
